Our History
BEGINS AT CHIOS
1940
Nikos Pilavas (1st generation), founder of the company, comes from Chios to Patras
1950
He establishes the first family distillery at Voulgareos St., Patras
1976
Nikos Pilavas reveals to his son Panagiotis, the secrets of distillation
1978
Panagiotis Pilavas (2nd generation) establishes a second distillery at G. Olympiou and Koumaniotou St., Patras
1980
The vast acknowledgement and the rapid evolution of the Company leads to a new relocation to 177 Panepistimiou St., Patras
1990
The sons of Panagiotis Pilavas, Nikos and Pericles (3rd generation) take over and due to its continuous growth, the Company is until today relocated to a private property, at Old National Road 31 Akteo Patras, where the state-of-art facilities of 3,500 square meters, offer the capacity to produce 6,000 bottles per hour.
